ℹ️ About Decoded

Hashnode is the easiest way for developers to start a blog on a custom domain and get readership from an integrated dev community. "Decoded by Hashnode" is a publication by Hashnode where we invite smart engineers from large tech companies to write about various aspects of software development.

What Kind Of Articles Do We Publish?

Our primary objective is to deliver quality content, the kind of content that is not already available on the web. Here are some categories:

  • How things work at scale: If you are working on a hyper growth product or build solutions that work at scale, we would love to hear from you.
  • Opinion Pieces: Do you have a strong opinion on something related to software development? As long as you have researched and can back your claims with number we would love to publish an article on this.
  • Ultimate Guides - Guides on how your engineering team solves a particular problem.
  • Case Studies - What you or your engineering team learned from a particular event.

Guidelines

Make sure your submissions pass the following criteria:

  • Your article offers unique insight into a specific topic
  • It's your original work and you have rights to submit the story
  • It's not offensive in nature and doesn't violate our community guidelines
  • It's not entirely driven by content marketing efforts or too much promotional in nature. If there is any vested interest, please disclose beforehand

  • If the outline is accepted, we'll establish a deadline and assign an editor to work with you
